ahhhh...clean clothes!
Washing your clothes is a great difficulty in Central and south america as we've found. Having a washing machine is a luxury and having a dryer is non-existent. Clothes tend to be hand washed in a bucket and then line-dried. Some people, however, will have a washing 'machine' but it is nothing like what you are use to in the U.S. It's usually a more simpilistic machine that will stir the water every few seconds. Anyway, when we got here to Brazil, Leoni offered to wash our clothes and we of course said 'sure'. Anyway, later the next day, we find our clothes neatly stacked and folded in perfectly cute nice flat squares on our bed. WE WERE ESTATIC. And we took pictures of the moment! (But still having trouble getting a computer to read my camera and take my plug in device). We were in awe. How did she do it?! How did she get them so clean?! Not only were my g-strings and bras perfectly folded (which I have never done) but everything smelled so fresh, felt so soft, so clean, and Gen couldn't get over how her shirt was totally white again! Anyways, this was a clean clothes rant. WhootWhoot! We LOVE Leoni!!!
