Hey everyone!
So, we made it into Santiago, Chile, yesterday night with no hostel booking or anything. We sat around at the airport figuring things out for a bit and a taxi guy was really nice and helped find us a cheap lil´hostel called Hostel Chile in the Plaza Italia area. It is quaint and sufficient place for us for just two nights. Gen thinks it smells bad though. She´s a smeller.
We currently are super broke. Argentina, for as cheap as it is, robbed us because we shopped too much there. Also, we had to pay the shitty fine we got from the Iguazu border crossing, and we had to pay Nuria back for our plane tickets back to Sao Paulo...AND we didn´t know that U.S. citizens coming into Chile, have to pay $131.00 usd to even get into the country!!! Yikes. Chile is by far the more pricier country that we have viisited. The only way we are going to get by this month is by not staying at hostels and camping and working on farms for a workstay situation. So, right now, we are looking for some farms to go to. If anyone knows of anyplace or anyone that could help us, let us know about it. Anyway, that´s all for now. ciao, ciao and beijas!
